Bout Of Books Update: Day 2

Tuesday:
Pages Read: 267
Books Read: Ten by Gretchen McNeil & Before Midnight by Cameron Dokey
Challenges Finished: Re-Title It @ Music Plus Books.
Overall Pages Read: 505
Overall Books Read: Ten by Gretchen McNeil & Before Midnight by Cameron Dokey.
Overall Challenges Finished: The Bookish Bucket List, ReTitle It.

I didn't finish Ten on Monday, I still had about 50 Pages left in that one. So, I finished the rest of that one on Tuesday morning and than in the afternoon I started Before Midnight. And I didn't think I would be able to finish that one, but I surprised myself.

And Today's Challenges are
the TBR List Challenge @ Musings of a Bookship Girl
Book Spine Poetry @ Such a Novel Idea
Of course you need to link all your answers at the hosts website to be entered in the contests.

For the TBR list challenge all you have to do is answer two questions. The questions are:

1.  Which 5 books are at the top of your TBR pile at this moment?

2.  If I gave you a wad of cash and sent you into a bookshop right now, which 5 books would you buy to add to the stack?

My answers are:

1. The top five books on my TBR are basically the ones I want to read for the read-a-thon.
Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr,
The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson,
Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa,
Golden by Cameron Dokey,
Gated by Amy Christine Parker

2. This is really hard to answer, but I think I would get.
Between the Devil and the Deep Blues Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke,
Asunder by Jodi Meadows,
Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi,
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer,
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

And for the Book Spine Poetry all you have to do it make a poem from book spines.
My poem is:

Eons Gated
Everneath the Pirate's Wish
The Forsaken Crave
Rapture.

That's how i'm doing for the read-a-thon, how are you doing?
Happy reading

  1. It looks like you're doing pretty good! I've finished two books as well. How was Ten? I'm really interested in reading it because I've heard such great things about it! I love creepy books.

Your tbr really has some good books in it. I loved The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa and Gated by Amy Christine Parker. So awesome!

  2. If you like creepy books you will love ten. That book scared the crap out of me so many times. Even when you aren't reading any of the creepy scenes, the book still had this underlining sinister tone that freaks you out. So, yah if you like creepy books read Ten.

I can't wait to get to the immortal Rules! Heard amazing things about that one. And Gated wasn't necessarily on my Bout of Books TBR.. I just bought it and I'm really excited to get to it!! Although I don't know if i'm going to read it for the read-a-thon or not.

  5. Thanks for entering my TBR challenge Kim! I really want to read Eleanor and Park too, I still haven't read any Rainbow Rowell but I might treat myself to one for my holiday in October. Any excuse, right?! :)
