Goodreads summary

I should have known that my first official date with Logan Quinn was destined to end in disaster. If we’d gotten into a swordfight, or been ambushed by Reapers, I’d have been more prepared. But getting arrested mid-sip at the local coffee hangout? I didn’t see that one coming.

I’ve been accused of purposely helping the Reapers free Loki from his prison—and the person leading the charge against me is Linus Quinn, Logan’s dad. The worst part is that pretty much everyone at Mythos Academy thinks I’m guilty. If I’m going to get out of this mess alive, I’ll have to do it myself…

So, I love this series so much. This series is what started my love for Greek Mythology books. And I didn't know that this came out last December or else I would have already read and reviewed this book. When I got this book I was terrified to read it, because Jennifer Estep said on her blog once that this is a series that has a war in it, so people will die and I was terrified that it was going to be a character I love. Anyway, I finally just told myself to suck it up and read the book already and I am so glad I did, because this book was one of the best books in the series.

So, the only problem in the last book was that it was really predictable and I was afraid that the series was going to start getting predictable. It seems that whenever a series has more then four books it starts to get really predictable, but I should have had more trust in Jennifer Estep, because this book was anything but predictable. There was so many twists and turns that I didn't even start to see coming and that is why this book like a rollercoster ride. One second your reading there peacefully  and then she throws in a twists that gets your heart pounding and makes you terrified for the characters. This book doesn't lack action at all.

What really made me love this series was the characters, how their so well written and how they feel so real. And every time I read the newest book in this series I love the characters more and more, because they have great character development and they always change for the better. So, the characters in this book are they best they have ever been in the series.

My favorite character in this whole series is Gwen. I love how brave she is and how she's willing to die to save everyone. She is one of my all time favorite characters I have ever read. If you read this series you will understand.

All in all, this is a really short review, because I have nothing else to say besides that this is another fantastic instalment in a outstanding series. And I would recommend this series to everyone, even if you don't like Greek mythology this series will make you love Greek mythology.
