Top Ten Character Names I Love or Top Ten Unusual Character Names

Since most of my fav names are also ones that are a little unusual these two go hand in hand for me.

Yelelna from Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
I love this name and I love this character!! However, how do you pronouce this name? Because I could never figure that out.

Isra from Of Beast and Beauty by Stacy Jay
This name just sounds really pretty when you say it and I feel like this is one of those rare times when a name really fits a character. This name just really fits her, she seems like an Isra.

Gem from Of Beast and Beauty
I really like this name, even before I read this book I always liked characters who were named this. Although this is the first time a character in book I read had it. Before this it was just TV shows and movies.

Katniss Everdean from the Hunger Game Trilogy by  Suzanne Collins
You can not tell me that Katniss isn't a freaking awesome name, because it is a freaking awesome name.

Charlaina Hart from The Pledge by Kimberly Derting

I like this name, because it sounds so elegant and Queen-like, which is probably why the author named her that.

Dee Black from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I just love this name! If I could rename myself I would pick Dee.

Ana from Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
I don't know if this is pronounce like Anna or something different, but I think it's a really cool name.

Celaena Sardothien from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Again, this name is really freaking awesome! I think it sounds cool and exotic and it sounds like a fantasy name. When I see it I think of fantasy worlds like the one this book is set in and all the other ones I've read.

Naji from The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke

This is just a really cool name.

Lola Nolan from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.
This name is just s perky and upbeat. And it's another one where the name fits the character. Lola seems like a Lola.

That's my list, what's yours?
Happy reading
