I'm Back!!!

I'm back guys!! I went on a full week of blissful vacation, I haven't been on a vacation this long in a few years. So, it was heaven. Keep in mind, I went to a resort in Mexico where it didn't get below 75 degrees and I live in a place where in winter it doesn't get above 25 degrees and it only gets up to that on very rare and warm days. Like right now it is -5 degrees and that is the high for the week.

I plan to get fully back into blogging starting with a review later today and then Saturday with Stacking the Shelves. But for now pictures!!!

The second one it what we were coming back to. My wonderful state of the Frozen Tundra. Isn't the solid blanket of snow and ice just wonderful?

I'm Going On Vacation

Hello guys. I won't be on the blog or the blogoshpere because I am going on vacation. Yay!!!

If you couldn't tell I am pretty freaking excited for this vacation. I live in a place that has really cold winters and I'm going on vacation in a place that has warm winters. I'm so freaking excited, it won't get below 50 degrees. Yay!!

Me and my family are going to a resort for a whole week. So, I won't be back to the blog until next week sometime, probably the 28th for the Top Ten Tuesday. I just wanted to make sure I put a post up explaining why there won't be any posts up  and that I won't be commenting on anyone's posts for the next week or so.

I'm Back!!!

Hello everyone, You know how early in November I said I was just taking that weekend off and I would be back later that week? And remember how I......didn't come back that week? Well, I'm finally back!!!

Yay!!!

I really had to take a break from blogging because of reasons. I had NanoWrimo that month (and I won by the way, Yay!!) and then school just decided to pile loads and loads of homework. So I was unable to do anything blog related, at all. It was so bad I only read two full books that month and one was required for school. So it was a very busy busy month. But thankfully school is winding down a bit and winter break is coming up so I can finally work on my blog.

Speaking of working on my blog, I will be redesigning it. I had the pink flowers since I started this blog and even though I love them they need to go. So I will be experimenting with different backgrounds and headers and such. So the blog is going to be a little crazy like that.

And thank you to everyone who hasn't abandon me and the blog yet. I know I haven't been on in a month and I want to thank everyone who hasn't completely given up on me. Just thank you to all of you lovely wonderful people.

And to really show how thankful I am to you guys I will be doing lots and lots of giveaways this month. The first one will be up this Sunday. So look for that.

Small Break

Hello guys, I just wanted to let you know that for the next four days I won't be posting anything, this includes Stacking the Shelves. It's just that this weekend is the annual girls weekend in my house. Me and my Mom and some other friends are going to be shopping and ect, so I won't have time to blog. But I will be back with next weeks Top Ten Tuesday.

Apology and Announcement.

Hello guys. I just had a few things to say and one of them is an apology.

 I didn't know I would be this busy with school and life in general. I have barely enough time to write up a few posts and reviews and post them. I have life no time to visit other blogs and comment or anything like that. This last week I posted like four reviews was only because I was in the Senitel book tour and I had yet to review most of that series. And writing those reviews sucked up most of my time and I could barely get school done. So I apologize to all my blogging friends and everybody, that I haven't done anything for the past few weeks than just put up posts. I'm sorry :(. But I think it will get better when this semester ends, because I have this huge project I'm working on for my AP course and that is taking up most of my time. 

Last thing I have to tell you is I', doing NanoWrimo this month!! Yay!! For those of you who don't know what that is, it means National Novel Writing Month and it's were you try and write 50,000 words in the month of November. So, posts will be very, very scarce this month and I'm not putting up a TBR because I don't think I will have enough time for reading. I barely have enough time for reading as it is and to put writing a book on top of all the rest of the stuff I need to do. I think I will barely have enough time to sleep. But it's going to be totally worth it just to write a book. Even if I don't finish it, it's going to be a blast.

Announcement

Hello everyone, I just have a small announcement to make and it is school is starting again. My school year start tomorrow (September 3). So, expect the blog to be slowing down a little bit. It won't right away, because I've wrote up a huge mass of posts in proportion of school starting. But as school picks up pace the blog will be slowing down.

And my school system has changed so much since last year, at first I was a little excited for the school year but now I'm just confused. The school tried to explain the changes and new mandatory class (Urgg) to everyone, but I didn't understand any of it. So, the first day of school will be challenging in trying to understand and making a game plan for everything..... so wish me luck.

And because of school starting I will not be doing a September TBR. I just don't think I will have a lot of time reading and I don't want the TBR hanging over my head all the time.

Announcement

Hey guys, hows it going? I just wanted to let all of you know that the blog might be slowing down a bit, because I start a new job tomorrow. I am really excited for this job, but sadly it will mean I won't have a lot of time for reading and writing posts. 

It's not an all day job, I get off sometime in the afternoon, but I fear I will be to tired (since it's a really physical job) to read and work on the blog. So, there will be days that don't have posts. I will try to write at least five posts a week and at least one review a week. But we'll have to see, because I never had a job like this so I don't know what to expect. 

That's all I just wanted you guys to know that. So, if you don't see as many posts in the coming months this is why.

Spring Break/update.

Hello everybody, so the soul-sucking, heart-killing, energy thief is gone!! (Also known as midterm tests.) Yay!! It is now officially spring break! and, because its spring break I will be taking a break from the blog for a week, I will be back next Tuesday. This has been a long time coming, lately I haven't felt like blogging. I don't know why this is, but I am hoping that by taking a week off that I will get back into things I guess.  So, that's my update, see you all next week :D

Summer announcement

    Hello my Dear Readers, today I am very sad to say that summer is almost over. School is starting soon, so my post will be slowing down a little, hopefully not a lot. However, you won't have to worry about that for a least two weeks, since school starts the last week in August.

   However, I will be changing my grading format. Like now, I grade the story/plot line, the characters, the writing, and the ending separately with a maxium of 25 points for each category, the higher the number is the better it was. Then I add up all the numbers. Then, depending on what the number was I I give it a letter grade. I really like that format, because when I started this blog I really wanted to go deep with my reviews. So, I will be sad to stop reviewing that, but I will bring it back next summer.

    I know what you are thinking, "why would you stop writing that way, since you like it so much"
Well, the answer is easy. When I write my reviews in that format, it takes me a while to write the whole thing and I won't have that much time to write reviews when school starts.
   
    So, the new way I will be reviewing is, I will write a few paragraphs explaining what I like and didn't like, then grade the overall book between 1 and 5 butterflies. The more butterflies the better.

    It will look something like this

1 Butterflies
Bad, waste of my time.

2 Butterflies

Boring, not really my kind of book.

3 butterflies

Basic, nothing special.

 4 Butterflies

Beloved, This is a really good book.

 5 Butterflies

Blew me away, one of the best books ever.
