"Stacking the Shelves" is a weekly theme hosted by Tynga's reviews . Feel free to join in if you want. In this theme I showcase all the books I got this week.
I did not get much this week, but the two I got are really great ones.
Barnes & Noble
I got...
Incarnate by Jodi Meadows.
There is a story to this, because I got a copy of this last week. A few days a go I was reading this and loving it. However, when I got to the end I figured out that a chapter was printed twice and because of that the last chapter wasn't in the book. I was so mad! So, I called the store and told them what happened and they said I could come in and exchange my copy for a good copy. I went today and got this wonderful copy. The review will be up Monday.
NetgGalley
I got aproved for...
The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett.
I found this one a while ago when I was looking for debut books for the debut author reading challenge. It sounds so good and plot sound so unique. So, thank you to the publishers for this awesome book.
P.S I would really apreceate it if you vote on the *what should I read next* poll. On the left side bar.
Thats all I got this week, what did you get?
Happy reading
Great haul, enjoy : )
ReplyDeletemy Book haul and international giveaway
Thank you :)
DeleteOh I hate when that happens the book is missing the last chapter. Gets on my last never. Incarnate was good, but Asunder the sequel is even better.

I can not wait to read the sequel and you saying that makes me want to read it even more!!
DeleteThe Nightmare Affair sounds absolutely amazing & I love the cover! I can't believe that your book was missing a chapter. I've never seen that happen before!

Neither I have I, I stared at the last page shocked for at least 3 mins, because it never crossed my mind that a book could be printed wrong and not of the last chapter.
DeleteThe Nightmare Affair looks like so much fun. I can't wait to read that one. Enjoy your goodies. Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to read the Nightmare affair too!!! I voted for Touch of Death because I read the ARC of it and gave it an awesome five star review! I loved it and can't wait for the sequel in July:)
ReplyDeleteCheers

DeleteI'm glad that you were able to get a new copy of Incarnate! I still have to read that one- the cover is amazing. Happy reading, and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteGreat set! Crazy that happened to your copy of Incarnate. I've never heard of something like that.
ReplyDeleteMy Bookish Recap
Wow B&N were so nice to do that! I never knew you could do that. Once I bought a book that had a chapter printed upside down (can you imagine?) and didn't think I could do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteAnd The Nightmare Affair is on NetGalley? I might try it out.
Thanks for stopping by my STS! :D
That would be just as, if not worse then missing a chapter, because you would have the chapter but you coudn't read it.So, it would just set there taunting you.
DeleteI didn't think when I called that they would do anything about it. So, I was really surprised when they offered to replace it. I guess all is well that ends well.
Nice haul! I can't wait to read both books! It's very nice of B&N to give you a new copy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
