If there was one thing you could change about Harry Potter, what would it be?
Can I give it more books? Is that an option? If it is I would give it a prequel series about his parents.
If not I would give Ginny more screen time, both in the movie and the books. I know she was really ignored in the movies and even though she was kind of prominent in the books I still want more of her. She was just so kick-butt and a great female character! It would be a bonus if it was more of her and Harry.

I've been seeing this meme more and more around the blogosphere, and I think it's amazing! I miss HP so much, and it's so great to see him and JK Rowling alive and kicking in everyone's hearts and blogs <3
ReplyDeleteYes! More please :D And we are getting more movies so I'm thrilled about that. The only thing that worries me about learning more about his parents early years is that James was a bit of a tool in the flashback in the pensieve that Harry saw. I would want him to be lovable. Really what it comes down to though is I would enjoy knowing more about any of these characters. Ginny too, I agree with. I loved her so much. It stinks that she was younger and wasn't really around them much until later years. Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.

ReplyDeleteAnd YAY a fellow Ginny lover! It makes me sad how terribly underrated she is, why can't people see how incredibly awesome she is?! I agree with you though, she was sorely neglected in the films (and misrepresented to boot! ...don't even get me started...) but I could have done with more of her in the books as well! Fantastic answer :D
You can never have too much Ginny! I would love to see more Ginny in the books; she's one of my favorite characters. We seem to be a greedy bunch, quite a few of us have responded not with changes but with more. We want more! :D
