I've finally done this guys, I've finally made this post. I've been meaning to make a Harry Potter Moment of the Week post for about 3 months now and I've finally done it!
This weeks topic is----
Where would you live as a witch/wizard? (With muggles, magical surrounding etc.)

I would like to live kind of where the Weasley's lived with the Burrow. I would want to live where I didn't have that many neighbors, but was close to the wizarding world and the muggle world. Basically on middle ground so it wouldn't be hard to be among fellow wizards or muggles.
Where would you live?
Happy Reading
I love the Burrow but I think that many wizarding dwellings are too isolated for my taste. I So I'd prefer a wizarding village like Hogsmeade or Godric's Hollow. Here's my bit:

Me, same. For one, we would not be completely severed from others, and at the same time, we wouldn't have to worry about what we did and whether someone saw us! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! I always thought that the Burrow would be such a cool place to live, and I love how it became very much like a home to Harry. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I don't think I could live somewhere isolated like that, but I would love to vacation somewhere like the Burrow or Shell Cottage.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the HP Moment of the Week postings!! I love your pick for where you'd want to live. I feel like the Burrow is so similar to the way I grew up and it just seems so homey. Nowadays, I like a more urban setting, so I ultimately went with a different locale. Here's my HP MOTW!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd create some kind of motor home that was a full home inside what looks like a normal camper, then I could go either place and have the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteWeeeeee! YAY, on doing a HPMotW post Kimberly! :D Welcome!! The Burrow is one of my absolute favorite places! It's perfection, simple as that. From the first moment Harry stepped in there in CoS, I was in love ♥ Great pick ^^ thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks :D. I'm glad I'm finally doing it, I've wanted to join and do this meme for months.
ReplyDeleteI agree so much! The Burrow is my version of a perfect house that has a loving family in it. I would love to have a house like the Burrow some day, magical objects included :).
That's a great idea!! It would be like the wizarding tents, but it could also take you places, it's a win win :)
ReplyDeleteI would love it if the Weasleys could adopt me! It would be perfection, but I would really miss my family, so maybe they could adopt my whole family?!?
ReplyDeleteThanks for following :D
Thank you :D.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lot like I grew up to and I want to move to a city, but I think after a few years I would want to move back to the country.
I don't mind isolation if it's not to much. If you were a wizard it would be so easy to travel almost everywhere, so it wouldn't really feel like isolation to me since it would be so easy to go across the country for a day or something.
ReplyDeleteI think that's one of the reasons I loved the Burrow so much is because it became Harry's home throughout the series. It was his home next to Hogwarts and I was so glad that he got to have a family home life considering how awful his life was with the Dursleys.
ReplyDeleteExactly!! You would still be part of both worlds, but would have free reign to do whatever wizarding thing you wanted to do, as long as it wasn't illegal of course.
ReplyDeleteIt might be a little isolated, but if your were a wizard you could go anywhere in a blink of an eye. So, to me it wouldn't feel all that isolated, especially if you had as big of a family as the Weasleys did.
