Q: What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

For the first part you guys have heard me talk about this book a lot and that would have to be the Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. I read, or tried to read this book, because some friends of mine who don't really read, read the book and loved it. I thought if they loved so would I. I was so wrong. There is so many things wrong with this book that I couldn't finish it.

Second part of this question is Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins. I feel like the majority of people who read this loves it, but it just isn't popular. The author had trouble getting signed for the second book, because not enough people were buying it. I don't know why this is, because its such a great book.

Also, don't forget to enter my 100 Followers Giveaway for your chance to win either the Madman's Daughter by Magen Sharperd or Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi.

Thats my answer, what was yours?
Happy reading

  5. I have not heard of those books. LOL I'm finding many of the books people are reading I haven't seen much of, I have a sneaking suspicion they are YA books- which is probably one type of book I'm not a huge fan of- though i do read some of the genre.

  8. I loved both Tiger's Curse and Sweet Evil, so I both agree and disagree with you. xD I couldn't believe it when the publishing company said they were on the fence about whether or not they were going to publish Wendy's second book! I would've been down on the floor sobbing my eyes out if they decided not to. I can't live without Kaidan in my life!

  9. I haven't read either series yet, but Sweet Evil is on my must read list. I wonder why people weren't buying it, I see that other people totally love it, and when I have time I'll check it out from the library. I've heard good things about Tiger's Curse, it just was never a priority for me. Thanks for visiting my FF, I'm an old follower.

    1. I thought the same thing, everyone was just raiving about and when the author told everyone that she was having trouble signing it, I was shocked. I was like everyone loved it! why didn't the publisher know this.

  12. I completely agree about Sweet Evil. I loved that book...it was one of top reads from 2012! I'm just thankful that the author was able to get the rest of the trilogy accepted by her publisher. Hopefully, it will pick up more steam now. Old follower.

  15. Tiger's Curse is one I'm meaning to read (I do have book 1...and have had it for quite a bit) but I'm scared to because I definitely have heard VERY mixed reviews on the series. I hope I'll get lucky but we'll see. ;)
