Stacking the Shelves (76)

"Stacking the Shelves" is a weekly theme hosted by Tynga's reviews . Feel free to join in if you want. In this theme I showcase all the books I got this week.

This week.....I kind of broke my book buying ban. I would be ashamed if I didn't get so many great books.

-E-Book-

Fire and Blood by Victoria Scott
I got this one on e-book because it was pretty cheap and I've heard nothing but praise for this one. It seems like everyone who reads it loves it.

-Physical Books-

The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Tales by Edgar Alan Poe
I have Poe's whole collection in one big pretty book. However, that's the thing, it's in one big book and I can't read it comfortably. So when I found this smaller book of his short stories I had to get it. It also helped that it was like $4.

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
I've wanted this one for a while. It looks pretty cool and since it's fantasy it's right up my alley.

The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson
This is the final book in the Mistborn series and I am both excited and terrified to read it. This author isn't afraid to kill off characters and I don't want anymore to die!!!

Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson
I've heard so many great things about this one!! Added to that fact is that the author is Brandon Sanderson I knew I had to get it. This will be my next read for sure.

The Rithmatist by By Brandon Sanderson
I've heard very little about this book, but what I have heard says that this book is amazing!! So, when I saw it on the library shelf I knew I had to get it.

That's what I got this week, and yes I realize that half of these books are from Brandon Sanderson but he is one of my favorite authors now. What did you get this week?
Happy reading

  2. Awesome haul! You can't go wrong with Brandon Sanderson, and I have heard so many great things about Locke Lamora. I wish you luck with The Well of Ascension, if you cry when characters are killed off I advise reading this one with a tissue box close by.

  4. Great books! I have the Mistborn series and The Rithmatist sitting on my shelves. They've been sitting there for about a year, and I still haven't picked them up. I need to, but I'm slightly afraid to, since fantasy is not my favorite genre. I hope Mistborn ends the way you want it to!
