Stacking the Shelves (74)

"Stacking the Shelves" is a weekly theme hosted by Tynga's reviews . Feel free to join in if you want. In this theme I showcase all the books I got this week.

I've been faithful to by buying ban for a while now. So, I don't have a big haul considering its been a while since my last haul. However, I did get quite a few books from the library and I don't count library books in my ban so I didn't worry about it.

I also got a few books for my birthday, I got a gift card which is where I got most of them. I love all of them! However, one is a nonfiction, but I decided to show it here anyway because I really love that I got it!!

Library Books-

The Princess Bride by William Goldman
I've heard some really good things about this one and since I'm getting into fantasy I decided to get this one. I hope I can read this soon.

Gravity by Melissa West
I've heard some mixed things about this one, but I decided to try it anyways. I really want to see what side of the reviews I'll be on.

The Broken Hearted by Amelia Kahaney
I haven't heard much about this one. I saw it on a few blogs when it came out, but besides that I didn't really know much about it. However, when I saw it at the library and read the summary I got it. It looks pretty good.

The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna
I've wanted to read this since it came out, but it wasn't high on my TBR pile so I never get it before now. I was so excited to see it at the library that I had to get it. This is going t be one of my next reads for sure.

Promise of Shadows by Justina Ireland
I haven't heard a single thing about this one. I've never seen this book before now, but when I saw it at the library I had to get it. Guys, this summary looks so freaking awesome!! A Half-god assassin, hell yes!

Birthday Books-

The Children of Hurin by J. R. R. Tolkien
I've recently been getting more and more into the Lord of the Rings. So I had to get this. I am really freaking excited to read this one!! However, I was surprised at how thin it is, I thought it would be a little bit longer. It's not even 300 pages long.

The Cloud Searches & The Stonekeeper's Curse by Kazu Kibishi
I read the first in this series a long while ago and I'm finally getting the rest of them. These books are just so pretty I wish I got them sooner. This series is also really good. I loved the first so much!! I can't wait to continue the series!! And if you are into Graphic Novels or are looking to get into Graphic Novels, read this series. Read it now!! It is so good!!!

Leonardo's Notebooks
This is a collection of pictures and translations from Leonardo Da Vinci's notebooks. If you don't know or haven't guessed by now, I am an art freak. I love art, I love making it, I love studying it, I just love it!! I am currently doing a AP Art History course for school and I'm loving it. I am just obsessed with anything art. So naturally I was freaking excited to get this!! I love this book, it is the Holy Grail of books for me.

Bought-

Elantris by Brandon Sanderson
I read the Final Empire by him and loved it!! I've been wanting to read more of his books. So, of course I had to get his debut. I can't wait to start this one!!

The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks
I've been getting more and more into fantasy (if you couldn't tell). So, I browsed the fantasy section in Barnes and Noble and found this one. It sounded pretty good, so I thought why not?

The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas
I am in love with this book! I haven't even read it, but I know the novelles in it will be amazing. And the cover, the cover is gorgeous! I will be reading this one as soon as I'm done with my current read.

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski
I have been looking forward to this one since the cover released last year. So I got my hands on this one as soon as I could. I can't wait to start this one!! It looks so freaking great!!

That's what I got since my last haul, what did you get?
Happy reading
