This post is a little late, but better late then never.
Blogging
1). Comment More
I am really bad at commenting, really bad at it. And this year I want to get better at it. Not just commenting on other blogs but also replying back to comments on this blog.
2). Write More Discussions
I love writing discussion posts. I like putting my thoughts on a post and actually discussioning it with people. However, I rarely do them because A) they take to long and B) I often can't think of topics to talk about. However, I had a brainstorming session and have come up with several discussion topics.
3). Write More book Recommendations
I love writing these posts. The only problem is they are very time consuming and I don't often have a lot of time to devote to only one post. However, I still want to post more of them and I am determined!
Reading
1). Finish the Mistborn Series
By Finish I mean finish The Hero of Ages. I've had that on my shelf for years. I started the series two years ago now and I want to finish the original trilogy. I'm not going to say the whole series with all the new books because I have no chance of that. However, I will read the Hero of Ages efore this year is out!
2). Read 60 books.
My Goodreads challenge is 100 books but that is just my auto challenge. I always wanted to read 100 books in a year but I have never made it and I don't beat myself up because it. And 2015 was a very bad reading year for me and so I want to read at least 60 books.
3). Read 12 Sequels
I am horrible at continuing series. I find a really great first book in a series and love it but never read the sequel. This has led me to have so many open series and a lot of sequels on my TBR shelf. I want to thin that down and actually continue these series. So, I want to read at least one sequel a month. I think I can do that.
Those are my Reading and Blogging Resolutions.
What are your Resolutions??
Happy Reading

Most Anticipated Books of 2016
Here are my top releases that I can not wait for in 2016. They are categorized by release date, not by my personal opinion.
~Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
January 5th
I've heard a lot of positive reviews for this book but also a few negative ones as well. So, I am really excited to read this one for myself and see what I think! Also, its a fantasy written by Susan Dennard, hell yeah!
~Assassin's Heart by Sarah Ahiers
February 2nd
This book is kinda new to me and so is the author. However, I read the summary and was instantly hooked. A gang war between assassin families? A Godfather and Romeo and Juliet retelling? Heck yeah!!
~The Great Hunt by Wendy Higgins
March 8th
I love Wendy Higgins' books and this one sounds really freaking great!
~The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh
~The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson
August 2nd
So many sequels on this list and this is one of the top sequels I can't wait to read! I need to know what happens next! How its going to end and how the hell they are going to live through that.
~A Torch Against the Night
August 30th
I loved the world in this series and I can't wait to see what happens in this book! The first book didn't end in a too terrible cliffhanger but I still can't wait!
~Throne of Glass #5 by Sarah J. Maas
September 6th
Do I need to explain myself here? Anything Sarah J. Maas will be on this list.
~Heartless by Marissa Meyer
November 8th
I'm not to big on the Lunar Chronicles but I still really liked her writing style. Also, the premise of this book sounds freakin great! The young Queen of Hearts, hells yeah!

Fandom Mash-Up
This is a new fun feature hosted and created by Micheline over at Lunar-Rainbows. For this feature, there will be a new fictional scenario each week and you will create your dream team of five different characters from five different fandoms around this scenario.
In a nightmare come to life, a gang of villains from all magical realms have somehow teamed up and are set to takeover all of the Universe! Which villains are on this terrible team?! (Part 1/2)
~Voldemort
He is the badest of the baddies. He essentially has no soul and to take over the universe yuo can't have a soul.
~Darth Vader
He is another bad ass baddy. Before, you know, his heart grew three times larger he was taking over the universe. The Empire was taking over everything and he was essentially leading the Empire.
~Loki
Loki is one of my all time favorite villians. He is crazy and he loves it. He doesn't care what others think about him, he just wants chaos. However, that mind set might not be the best to takeover the univerrse because he'll be focused on making chaos not strategic attacks.
~Daleks
The Daleks have no heart at all and unlike Voldemort (who I don't think could feel anything) they only feel hatred and rage. They are the perfect villians because they are almost indestructible and smart as all hell. Also, they have almost taken over the universe by themselves.
~The Borg
The Burg are terrifying! They kill everything they believe is inferior. And they have the brilliant strategy of just converting their enemies into slave soldiers instead of just killing them. This means they gain soldiers instead of losing them. However, I don't see them easily working with other villians, but I'm sure they'll work it out.
My team seems very disfunctional and I almost believe they'd kill each other before taking over anything.
Who's on your team?
