Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger.

When I started blogging I didn't discover Goodreads until 2 months after I started this blog. So, for those two months I can't really remember what I read.  So, some of these books might of been read in the beginning of this blog, but that's close enough, right?

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
This is when my fascination with JLA started. I read Half-Blood before this, but I didn't know until I read this one that this lady can right anything and make it outstanding.

Half-blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Like I said, I read this one before Obsidian and loved everything about it, The characters, the plot, and of course, the writing. And this series is one of my all time favorites.

Immortal Beloved by Cate Teirnan.
I never reviewed this one and don't really talk about it much, but I love this book. I've re-read it so many times. This whole series I love, although I think this is the best one in the series.

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins.
This is such a fun book!! It will make you laugh so much while reading it. And I just love it.

Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston.
This book series is what really got me into fairies. Before reading this I just thought fairies where like Tinker Bell, but this book opened my eyes to the awesomeness that is YA fairy books.

The Last Song by Nicolas Sparks.
This is the best contemporary I have ever read. I just got so emotionally attached to the characters and my heart just broke while reading this. I love it!!

The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones.
Another great fairy book. I can never remember if I read this book or Wondrous Strange first, but either way I love this book!! Everything about it is amazing, except the ending to the series.

Significance by Shelly Crane.
This is one of the best love stories I have ever read! It is just so sweet!

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder.
This one goes without saying.

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.
This was the first ever book that I had encountered that had writing like this and I fell in love!! I love the writing, I love the characters, I love the plot. I love everything about this book.

That's my list, what was yours?
Happy reading.

  4. I still need to read the Lux series. I really hope I can get to it sometime this year, though it definitely won't be in the next couple of months. I just bought Shatter Me at a discount, so it's sitting on my kindle. Staring at me. :D Great list. Thanks for dropping by mine!

    1. If you wait to read it for a few months the next book will be out and you don't have to live through that cliffhanger. And Shatter me tends to store at you, guilting you into reading it.

  5. I just finished Shatter Me (and the other two) and it's on my new top ten list...actually, I love Unravel Me even more, but you're right about the writing in the first book - that was some crazy cool voice going on with Juliette.

And I have seen you mention Poison Me so many times I really need to get this soon!

Thanks for stopping by Kimberly! :)

    1. Since I have yet to read Vampire Academy so this might be a little beised. However, I think the first book is very similar to the first VA book, but I think after that its completely different.
      Again, read Poison Study.
