Stacking the Shelves (35)

"Stacking the Shelves" is a weekly theme hosted by Tynga's reviews . Feel free to join in if you want. In this theme I showcase all the books I got this week.

For the last few weeks I have been good at my book buying ban and then a library book sale happened and I bought a lot of books for under 10$. So I thought "hey I can go afford to the book store to buy one book" and I found that Barnes & Noble had a book that I didn't think released until next week. After buying a little bit more books then one I admitted to myself that I broke my ban.So, I went to the library!! What I am trying is I have a lot of books in this haul, but to my defense I got all these books in a two week period.

Library

I got..

Ash by Malinda Lo.
I haven't heard much things about this one, but it has a cool summary and cover.

Court Duel by Sherwood Smith.
I have read this one a while ago and never reviewed. And I have been wanting to re-read it for a while.

Lucid by Adrienne Stoltz & Ron Bass.
This looks like such a great book!! I have heard some great things about it. So, hopefully I'll like it .

New Girl by Paige Harbison.
Never heard of this one, but it looks good.

Starling Lesley Livingston.
I loved Livingston's Wondrous Strange series and I think this one ties in some of the things from that series. So, I really can't wait to read this one!!

Barnes & Noble

I got....

Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Read and loved this one!!! And this one wasn't suppose to release next week and when I saw it on the shelves I thought it was a joke. After my initial  shock I grabbed it off the self and almost screamed with excitement. Review will be posted 5/8/13

With All my Soul by Rachel Vincent.
This is the last in the Soul Screamers series and I am both sad and excited to read it.

Immortal Rules by Julia Kagawa.
I love the whole book design for the paperback, it's just so beautiful. And of course I really want to read it.

Agnes Gray by Anne Bronte.
I have wanted to have a Anne Bronte book and when I saw this on the shevles I got it.

Library book sale.

The YA books I got..

White is for Magic by Laurie Faria Stolarz.
I didn't know until now that this is a sequel to a book.

The Seance by Joan Lowery Nixon.

Curse of the Shamra by Barry Hoffman.

Such a Pretty Girl by Laura Wiess.

The Adult book I got..

Nights in  Rodanthe by Nicolas Sparks.

The Guardian by Nicolas Sparks.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson.

Best American Short Stories by Various Authors.

Snow Flower  and the Secret Fan by Lisa See.

The Classic books I got...

The Hunchback of Norte-Dame by Victor Hugo.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte .

Withering Heights by Emily Bronte.

The Cather in the Rye by  J.D. Salinger

Tales from the Odysey part 1 & 2 by Homer.

  5. Wow! You have got an amazing collection there. I nearly borrowed Lucid myself but then got distracted by other books.
Have yet to start The Convenant series. Trying to catch up on some other reads first.
